HTML Entities Help Page

Unicode exists to facilitate typing a large number of characters above and beyond the classic letters, numbers, and punctuation. Using Unicode, one can show characters from Greek, Cyrrilic, and middle-Eastern languages - or one can show a variety of:

Arrows, for example: ➺, ➪, ➤, or ➸
Bullets, for example: ◉, ●, ☉, or ⛯
Ballot-boxes, for example: □, ▢, or ▱

This page specifically notes certain entities that have a code name, rather than a numeric code. This simplifies typing the entity into text that will ultimately be displayed as a web page (or the equivalent). Just copy the code name ‑ such as ® ‑ or the actual character ‑ such as ® ‑ and paste the result into your document wherever desired.
