NASA maintains an archive of the picture of the day back to June 16, 1995. The complete archive list can be seen here. As you might expect, the list has over 10,000 lines, making it a bit difficult to find something of interest.

The NASA Archives page has been developed to permit you to select a year and a month, then click Select. (Choices are restricted from June 1995 to the present.) The available images for that month will be summarized, with links to the NASA pages.

If the selected month is fairly recent, Calendar will appear. Clicking the button will build a series of thumbnails of the images for the month, arranged as a calendar. This process may take several seconds ‑ please be patient. Some images are known to be missing; a generic image will displayed instead. (Clicking it is futile.) Each real image may be clicked for a larger view; each date number may be clicked to visit the NASA page. If the image for a specific date is not actually a simple image, Display will take you to the NASA page to view whatever the page contains. While a calendar is visible, Hide Calendar will remove it, as will selecting a new month. Daily Image will display the image of the day.

From January of 2022, images are available on Trinidad Way here.

The standard page header contains the following functions:

• accesses the following menus:
  • Trinidad Way groups pages primarily of interest to residents of Trinidad Way, including:
    • Neighbors groups several pages, including the street map and info about CONCUR members.
    • Street Reps lists the curent street reps and how you interact with them.
    • Recipes collects recipes submitted by your neighbors.
    • Hurricane Prep discusses some thoughts on preparing for a major storm.
    • FEMA Flood Map is the most recent mapping for Trinidad Way, with some observations about storm surge.
    • Passwords is a quick way to generate secure passwords. (Trinidad Way will not keep any information about them.)
    • Memes is a fun way to create your own memes.
    • Safer Searches conducts an Internet search while submitting less identifying information about you.
  • IslandWalk accesses the CONCUR website and a few things about IslandWalk.
  • Newsletters accesses recent weekly and monthly e-blasts from Castle Group, as well as some articles of particular significance.
  • Information groups pages of interest primarily within the Naples area, including:
    • Telephone Numbers displays interesting telephone numbers.
    • Interactive Maps maps interesting places both local and around the hemisphere.
    • News Weather etc. directly access popular categories of mostly‑external sites.
  • More Sites accesses even more categories of local and internet pages in sets for display or visiting.
•  ▲ restores a scrolled page (such as this one) to the initial view. (For users with no mouse, it also hides the dropdown menu.)

Decisions of the judge are final, but feel free to lobby for another topic to be covered or another page to be referenced from this site.
