Local Temperatures Help Page

The most recent temperature observation is displayed. Below that is a table showing the highest and lowest temperatures for "Today", the "Past 24 Hours", and the "Current Graph" interval, with the most recent time the temperature was observed. All measurements are shown in degrees Fahrenheit.

Below this information is a graph of observed temperatures. The top shows the start and stop of the interval. Vertical lines are shown every 2 hours, with midnight, 6 AM, noon, and 6 PM labeled at the bottom. A red dot at the top and a blue dot at the bottom flag the most recent time the highest and lowest temperatures were observed during a selected time. The selected time defaults to the "Past 24 Hours", which can be changed by selecting "Today" or "Current Graph".

The selected time interval, defaulted to 1 day, is selectable from 2 hours to 28 days. The displayed interval is changed with "Step Back" and "Step Forward" buttons ‑ a note will appear if the selected action would have exceeded the data limits. The control buttons are:
   - view the earliest known observations
   - step backward in time
   - step forward in time
   - view the most recent observations

Note: Observations are from a weather station located in the Vineyards, which does not record historical data. The process of collecting observations relies on an experimental technique to obtain the latest observations ‑ there may be gaps in coverage when no data can be obtained. These gaps are not highlighted in any way, other than by having no data plotted.

As you move the cursor through the graph, a box will follow it with the time associated with the cursor position and, if known (see previous paragraph) the temperature associated with that time.
